It all began with a group of people who dreamt of starting something completely new. We had a passion for employee ownership and a desire to build a diversified group of companies providing products and services to scientists and to other companies that serve scientists. Together, we established Blue Hills Ventures, a company dedicated to finding cutting-edge solutions, providing great services and building value for our stakeholders, especially our employees. Our Companies
Blue Hills Ventures has a diversified portfolio of businesses on three continents with expertise in the manufacturing and distribution of life science research products. These include IonOptix, manufacturing fluorescence research systems, Red Box Direct, managing the export sales and support offices for a number of client businesses, Green Leaf Scientific and Orange Science which are distribution companies based in Europe and Japan, respectively. Our latest venture is Cytocypher, a company building high throughput systems for the fluorescence analysis of cells.
